Beachfront surf lodge in the fishing village of Playa Gigante, established in 2004 and run by Tara and Trevor, where every room is private with its own bathroom and air conditioning. The all-inclusive 7-night lessons package (beginner to intermediate) includes twice-daily surf lessons with English-speaking local guides, a surfboard, all meals and beer, rum and soft drinks. Intermediate to advanced surfers can instead take two guided boat trips a day to 14 breaks, or a coaching package with video analysis for at most 2 surfers.
